I had a blast my senior year at John F Kennedy High School in Wheaton, MD. One of the highlights was playing a baseball player in the musical Damn Yankees.
My brother Rick (Richard House), played the lead Joe Hardy, and he was incredible. My buddy John Christmas played the lead character, The Devil, which if you know John, was perfect casting. All of my friends were in this show, it was a blast!
Rick somehow recorded one of the performances and recently dug up the recording after all these years. When he sent me a clip, I admit I was ready to wince since, you know…it was a high school musical, but instead was blown away. We sound DAMN GOOD for a high school production!

Thanks Rick! And to all of you other cast members, enjoy reminiscing. And check out the show’s program in the gallery below Rick dug up.

PS. If you listen with headphones, you may hear someone off to the right snoring (or something)…wtf?
PS. I found the program from our Senior Banquet, so scanned it and posted it here. It some fun reading in there (if you attended the event), check it out…including hilarious “Last Will and Testaments” and “Class Prophesy”. Enjoy!!!
hahaha!!!
thank you for posting this.
not bad for high school.
I was one of the supporting roles, I was Lola, and it’s funny to hear this as I am now 20 years out as SAG.AFTRA/AEA and working on my first one woman show with a Broadway director and musical director with 15 years working on Bway…
thanks for posting!
