Here’s my soaking, completed with the assistance of my lovely wife, Evelyne (who enjoyed it just a little too much).
Thanks to my college fraternity big brothers, Tommy MacDonald and Tom Martino, for the invitation. Now I challenge Mike Garvey, Phil Tavares, Kurt Bodden and Richard House. Go to it, boys! Take an ice bucket on the head and/or donate to ALS Association (http://www.alsa.org).
The Bay to Breakers 12K race is a huge, wacky San Francisco event where the winner is already on a plane back home to Kenya before most participants cross the starting line. Somehow people just can’t resist showing up in costumes (some in no clothes at all), while pounding beers like there’s no tomorrow.
Come along with Squiffy, the rambunctious yellow squirrel to see whom he meets on his way from the bay to the breakers.
Me and my fellow How We First Met cast mates right before hitting the stage.
It was a blast performing again our show How We First Met on Valentine’s Day. It went over very well…a full house and nice reviews like this one, which reads:
“Paul Erskine took on the role of Michael as his eyes first came upon Kim, his vision, Paul stretching out each and every goggle eyed, love struck jaw dropping reaction. This sequence looked so funny it made the face hurt from laughing, that sequence alone worth the price of admission. Paul has indeed been in each and every ‘How We First Met’ and has seen everything. He’s also an animator and created a childrens’ story book, that talent becoming evident with his disarming mugging and cartooning.”
Our How We First Met show was featured in a video for the Stark Insider online magazine. Click below to watch.
I’ve been performing the How We First Met improv show every Valentines Day for over a decade and it’s continues to be super fun for everyone. The romantic stories coming from our audience always seem to surprise.
If you’re looking for something romantic and fun to do in SF on Valentines Day, come snuggle up at our show.Come join us. It’s a giggly love-fest.
Some of you may know, I’m an animator (and a geek) and I created a mobile app called Hush Lullaby. If you have a kid that you’d like to entertain check it out. We’ve been getting great feedback from users of the app, and if you have the app, (thank you!) please rate it on the App Store here.
Thanks for reading! Have fun out there and I hope to see you soon.
Cheers,
Paul
